2 men, 2 women charged as Toronto Police seize guns, drugs and money

Toronto Police have arrested two men and two women and seized drugs, firearms and proceeds of crime from them. The arrests were made on Tuesday following raids on residences and automobiles in the Bayview Avenue and Sheppard Avenue East area, the Corporate Drive and Consilium Place area and the Kennedy Road and 16th Avenue area of Toronto. [caption id="attachment_78300" align="alignnone" width="800"]handgun and ammunition seized by Toronto police Handgun and ammunition seized by Toronto Police.[/caption] During the raids, police recovered two loaded semi-automatic handguns and ammunition, about 700 grams of cocaine, about 165 grams of fentanyl and about $170,000 in proceeds of crime. The four accused are Shane Smith-Thomas, 29, Melissa Papanikolov, 30, Kyle Small, 26, and Roxanne Cole, 24. They face 33 charges — drug trafficking, possessing prohibited firearms without a licence and proceeds of crime.
