Brampton man arrested for credit card thefts

BRAMPTON: Jaspreet Singh, 29, of Brampton has been arrested for possession of stolen credit cards and IDs.

He was arrested when officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Caledon detachment were called to the Walmart Plaza in Bolton after reports of a suspicious vehicle on November 1.

Police arrested Jaspreet Singh and found that the vehicle was stolen.

He has been charged with seven offences, including:

– Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

– Two counts of credit card theft

– Four counts of possession of stolen identity documents

Jaspreet Singh will appear in court in January.

Police are still hunting for a second suspect in the case.
