73-year-old Toronto driver tries to flee with a person on his hood

The Canadian Bazaar TORONTO: In a case of Toronto plaza rage, Sam Green, 73, has been arrested for trying to ram his truck into another person with whom he had a parking dispute. According to Toronto Police, its officers responded to a call about this incident at a plaza in the Steeles Avenue West and Alness Road at about 1.15 pm on December 10. As per the sequence of events, a 50-year-old man had parked his SUV in the plaza. He was approached by the suspect who complained about his parking. Their verbal exchange escalated into violence as the suspect damaged the 50-year-old man's SUV with a sharp object and then tried to flee in his truck. The suspect drove into the 50-year-old man who jumped onto the truck to avoid injury. The suspect drove away with the 50-year-old man clinging to the hood. Sam Green was arrested and has been charged with: 1) Dangerous Driving 2) Assault 3) Mischief under $5000 He will appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on January 21.
