TORONTO: Toronto Police are seeking help from the public in recovering a goat stolen from a farm.

The three-month-old goat named Juniper was stolen from the Riverdale Farm, 201 Winchester Street this week.

Police say the suspect or suspects entered a pen in the farm and stole the 3-month-old Nubian goat named Juniper. The goat was stolen some time between 5.30 pm on May 5 and 7 am on May 6.

The goat is described as weighing 30 lbs., with black and silver fur, brown legs and white ears

It has an identical twin sibling named Justine, who was left in the pen unharmed.

Accoring to Detective Constable Graham Ellis, “Riverdale Farm staff are understandably upset and are extremely concerned about Juniper who, they say, would not leave the pen without her mother and would have likely cried out during the incident.

“We'd urge anyone who knows anything about this incident to contact us immediately so we can find her and safely return her to the farm.”
