I'm desi girl for forever, Priyanka tells Salman Khan

Agencies MUMBAI: Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra are coming together on the big screen after almost a decade. The two super stars, who have worked together in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Salaam-E-Ishq and God Tussi Great Ho, will now be seen in lead roles in Bharat to be directed Ali Abbas Zafar. The film will release on Eid 2019. Priyanka, who has been busy shooting in the US, was last seen in a Bollywood film - Jai Gangaajal - in 2016. Welcoming Priyanka on board in the style of air hostesses, Salman cheekly tweeted, "'Bharat' welcomes you back home Priyanka. See you soon. Director Ali Abbas Zafar, who has previously directed Priyanka in Gunday, also welcomed her back. "Swagat hai aapka Priyanka. 'Bharat' ki mitti aur hawa ko apka intezaar hai,’’ he tweeted. Priyanka is currently shooting for the third season of the TV serial Quantico which goes on air on April 26. She also made her Hollywood debut with Baywatch last year. She is also cast in two other Hollywood films - A Kid Like Jake and Isn't It Romantic. But she says Quantico 3 may be her acting stint in the West as she wants to focus back on Bollywood where Deepika Padukone rules the roost now. On her homecoming in Bollywood, Priyanka said last week, ``I'm looking forward to begin shooting this film and working with Salman and Ali again after a considerable time. I've learnt a lot from them in our previous collaborations and am excited to see what this one has to offer." Ali Abbas Zafar has already posted a picture of the first shot of the film with Salman standing ready for the first take behind the clapboard. To to produced by Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri's Reel life Production Pvt Ltd and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, it will be released during Eid 2019.
