The Canadian Bazaar TORONTO: Toronto Police are still active in search of clues to locate an Etobicoke girl that went missing 36 years ago. Nicole Morin, who was eight years old then, went missing from her Etobicoke apartment on Tuessday, July 30, 1985. According to police, little Nicole left her apartment located on the top floor of 627 The West Mall Etobicoke at about 11 am and was never seen again. Nicole had made arrangements to meet her friend in the lobby of their building so they could go swimming in the pool located at the rear of the building. But she never appeared in the lobby. Nicole would be 44 years old today. In 2019, police released an updated artist’s rendition to show what she could look like today in the hope someone recognized her. Over the years, people have reported numerous tips but police have been unable to bring this investigation to a conclusion. "Today, we ask the community to help us try and answer the question as to what happened to Nicole, and provide closure for her family and friends who continue to miss her," say Toronto Police an appeal on the day Nicole went missing 36 years ago.
