Not interested in erotic roles anymore: Surveen Chawla

News East West MUMBAI: Surveen Chawla, who is fast becoming the new sex symbol of Bollywood, says she now wants to do films of other genres. The actress who made her Bollywood debut in the 2014 film Hate Story 2 with plenty of erotic scenes, says she is no more interested films with violent sex scenes. ``I want to do every kind of films but, except for doing an erotic genre. I’d love to do comedy; I want to do romantic films that’s my favorite genre. I want to do an authentic love story. I want to do a biopic, action I want to films in every genre. But, having said that erotic genre is something I don’t want to do and that’s my personal choice,’’ says the actress. CLICK HERE: SURVEEN CHAWLA HD WALLPAPERS Chandigarh-born Surveen, who made a name for herself in Punjabi and south Indian cinema before debuting in Bollywood, is also not interested erotic item numbers after doing a song in Anees Bazmee’s film Welcome Back. ``As far as item songs are concerned I have done a special song in Welcome Back and it’s a family song which is picturized on me. I hope in every wedding season this song will be played. I think after this song I will not do item songs as of know but if its a great film I will,’’ Surveen has been quoted as saying by koimoi.com.
