Brampton's Suresh Kumar Ratnani arrested for sexual assaults on teenage girls

Peel Police say Suresh Kumar Ratnani worked at the convenience store which his two teenage female victims attended

The Canadian Bazaar BRAMPTON: A 52-year-old Brampton Indo-Canadian man has been arrested in connection with sexual assaults involving two teenage girls. Investigators from the Special Victims Unit of Peel Regional Police have arrested Suresh Kumar Ratnani and charged him in the sexual assault investigation. According to Peel Police, two teenage girls were sexually assaulted while attending a convenience store in the area of Sandalwood Parkway East and Kennedy Road North in Brampton between June 24 and July 5. The accused sexual predator has worked at this store for many years. On three separate occasions, the accused engaged the females in conversation and then sexually assaulted them, police say. On Monday, 52-year-old Suresh Kumar Ratnani (also known as Joe) was arrested and charged with four counts of sexual assault. He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on September 14. Police say Suresh Kumar Ratnani is south Asian male, 5’9, with a heavy build, short black hair, and is clean shaven. He speaks with a south Asian accent. Police are asking anyone in the public to provide any information relating to this investigation or any similar incidents.
